Newsletter Issue No 002

Well in the last fortnight I have been developing the chapters “Spiritual Awakening” and the “Work Experiences” and the spiritual journey just now needs the editors to thrash into shape the sketching I have given them and then it will be sent to the readers for their comments and their recommended changes. The “Work Experiences” presents a challenge to recall some of the details but it is nearing completion and I hope to get it off to the editors at the end of this week.

I am making greater progress this year because I have started to master “Voice Recognition” programme which simple means talking to the computer and it types up in word documentation a file. The challenge is to speak clearly so the computer gets to know what I am saying and sending the right “commands” enabling to computer to do the actions of “correcting spelling” deleting unwanted sentences and correcting “spelling”. It truly is a great system and certainly saves time particularly when it eliminates my one figure typing. The modern day technologhy is really so helpful and I certainly haven’t used what is available on my computer to its maximum. I’m still a work in progress as far as what I understand about computers and their systems.

In the last fortnight our major highlight was the painting of the roof of our house and the replacement of the guttering right round the house. The contractors have done a great job and the house is really looking fresh and inviting. We are very pleased with the end result. The next job for me will be painting the walls of the house below the spouting line and the fences. All of that will help to keep me out of trouble.

Our youngest grandson Alex turned 6 years old on the 30 January and our gift to him was an Australian Tennis Open 2012 beach towel which he loves. Grandma and Alex watch a lot of tennis and Alex knows all the top players by name and has his favourites and at the present time his is Nadal.
