Newletter Issue No 003

February 20, 2012

Well another two weeks have slipped by and the end of February fast approaches. This causes alarm bells to go off as time is rapidly getting short to finish the rough draught of the book by the end of March. Progress over the last two weeks has been very slow and I seem to be losing enthusiasm to get on with the job and look for other jobs to do instead. I’m sure I will get it done on the time frame I have set myself. But I need to keep at it with a disciplined approach and good use of the time available. I am at present finishing off the “work experiences” and “God’s Miracles” and started developing the chapters on “Ministering to those in Prison” Recalling the events and achievements is a challenging work but I’m sure we will get it all together in due time.

We are awaiting the roofing contractors to compete the replacing of the down pipes after replacing the guttering. Hopefully that will be completed this week. I have in the meantime started painting the wood walls of the house with “Iron Sand” acrylic paint and it is giving a fresh look to the house. That painting job is going to keep me busy three hours aday for the the next couple of months.

It’s hard to believe that the Super 15 Rugby starts this coming weekend. Another rugby year is upon us and it will be interesting to see the results of the changing of the guard in all aspects of the game this season. My pet hate at the moment is Sonny Bill William’s courting of three sports with no commitment or allegiance to any one code. Rugby administration does not help in allowing a player to cause these sort of distractions. All this sort of carry on “produces a Jack of all Trades and a Master of None.”

Our Bed and Breakfast facilities have been fully booked for the month of February so we have been busy looking after our clients. Not over doing our friendship skills but making sure that all their expectations and needs are seen to.
