WHAT IS YOUR OBJECTIVE?
Quote for Today
“Jesus’ birth was the long awaited answer to the cries of God’s people. God put on vulnerable human flesh to restore his relationship with humanity. We hope you can take the time this season to reflect on the miracle of Christmas and the powerful story of Jesus.”

John 10:10 (NIV®)
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
REFLECTION
SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS
People pursue many things—education, careers, hobbies, relationships, and even fun. Why would we invest our thoughts, our time, and our resources in pursuing the Kingdom of God? The simplest answer is from Jesus: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” So, what is the objective of being a Christ-follower? To live fully! To the extent you ignore Jesus, His commandments, and invitations, and go your own way, you diminish the quality of your life. But to the extent you give yourself to the Lord, pursue His purposes, yield to Him, and cooperate with Him, He will bring life to you—life to the full! One of the great misunderstandings of our faith is that it’s about avoiding hell. That’s certainly a part of it, but being a Christ-follower is about learning how to live now, too. You may still pursue education, careers, hobbies, relationships, and even fun, but you will increasingly understand the place they should have in your life as you pursue His purposes above all others.

WHAT IS YOUR OBJECTIVE?
SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS
“There are people who curse their fathers and do not show their appreciation for their mothers. There are people who think they are pure when they are as filthy as they can be. There are people who think they are so good---oh, how good they think they are! There are people who take cruel advantage of the poor and needy; that is the way they make their living.”
Proverbs 30:11-14
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.”
Philemon 1:25
"When you are sitting in the depth of your fear, distress and temptation, raise your head and look up. God is not to be found in the depths of your misery, but rather outside of you - above, in the heights of his sanctuary. He is waiting for you to look up to him and call for help, so that he can come to your assistance."
