WORD FROM SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Psalm 107:1-2 (NLT®)
“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Has the LORD redeemed you? Then speak out!”
REFLECTION
PRAISE THE LORD! LOOK AT WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR ME!
An automobile showroom is a beautiful place. The newest ones have tall windows and lighting that entices you to come inside. Once inside, you see all those vehicles—new, shiny, spotless, and sporting that “new car” smell. Every one of them seems to say, “Come over here! Look at me!” Some people think of a church that way—a place for Christians to show off their shiny, spotless selves. But I think God wants a church to be more like a used car lot, a place for people with a few dings and scratches and maybe even a few miles on the odometer. When you come inside, all we have to brag about is that, through the blood of Jesus, every one of us has a rebuilt engine that keeps us on the road. Let’s make sure our churches are redeeming places. Let’s not be where people shout, “Look at my perfection!” but instead declare, “Praise the Lord! Look at what He has done for me!”

REBUILT ENGINES
PRAISE THE LORD! LOOK AT WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR ME!
Jesus does not require us to be perfect. He accepts us and our imperfections, which helps us accept others and their flaws.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the Body of Christ. Enable me to use my life to serve You and Your people. Help us awaken to all the ways You have and will redeem our generation, through us, as we boldly proclaim the Lordship of Jesus of Nazareth. In His name, Amen.
