Do our nations need a change? Absolutely—a change of heart! Many say our problems are rooted in our ideological and political differences, but the truth is, we need a change of heart far more than we need an ideological or political change. That change must begin in the hearts of God's people. If we will address the hardness of our own hearts, God will move Heaven and Earth to bring His purposes forth. If we don't change our hearts, we will experience God’s judgment. When we say our nation needs a heart change, I think we feel very powerless. We feel as if our voice is small, our resources are few, and our connections are not significant. The good news is we are at the center of this story. We are not insignificant, and the choices we make about who we will honor and serve will determine many of the outcomes of human history. Return to the Lord with all your heart, then watch and see what He will do through you.
