From a Biblical perspective, the love of Jesus for humanity is immeasurable and sacrificial, epitomized in His willingness to lay down His life for us. In John 15:13, Jesus states, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." This ultimate act of love is further illuminated in Romans 5:8, where Paul writes, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus' love is unconditional and inclusive, extending grace and forgiveness even when we fall short. It is a love that pursues us relentlessly, as depicted in the parables of the lost sheep, coin, and prodigal son (Luke 15). His love is also personal and intimate, as seen when He says in John 10:14-15, "I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep." Through these passages, the Bible reveals the profound and boundless love that Jesus has for each of us, a love that surpasses all human understanding and knowledge.
