WORD FROM THE HOLY BIBLE FOR TODAY

Psalm 103:2-5 (NLT®)

“Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me.”

REFLECTION

NEVER LOSE SIGHT OF THE GOODNESS OF GOD

I hope you never lose sight of the goodness of God. Life is full of disruptions and challenges, things we haven’t asked for and never expected. But amidst all those things, God’s faithfulness is on display. Just a casual look at our lives will remind us of how blessed we are, so I hope you will not allow yourself the luxury of being ungrateful. Make a conscious choice of your will to give thanks to God for all He has done for you, irrespective of the circumstances you are facing right now. Think about all He has done for you in the past—your salvation and your deliverance from darkness is a good place to start. Then, remind yourself of all He is doing today and has promised to do in the future—a redeemed life in the present and a glorious eternity in His presence.

NEVER FORGET

NEVER LOSE SIGHT OF THE GOODNESS OF GOD

THINK ABOUT IT

Make these thought patterns a habit, and they will do more to break the darkness over your life than anything else I know.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, through Jesus’ cross, You redeemed me and established me in righteousness. Forgive me for when I have failed to remember Your faithfulness and great strength. I will not forget Your goodness and Your great mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
