What To Do To Build a Strong Relationship with Jesus

1. Read your Bible.

The Bible is God’s word to us. Start by reading the word of Jesus in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John), this 2 Psalms and a Chapter of Proverbs everyday. Peter said, “Lord to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” John 6:68

2. Pray.

Prayer is simply talking to God. “Until now you have asked for nothing in My name;l ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.” John 16:24

3. Live what you believe.

“If the Lord is God, follow Him” 1Kings 18:21 Jesus said, “If a man loves me, he will keep my words.” John 14:23

Quote for Today

“It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth - and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.”
  • Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Mother Basilea Schlink’s Attitude for Today

"Do not lose yourself in your everyday work and activities. Rather, lose yourself in God. When you are doing your work, let your innermost heart be centred on Him. Live in His presence and abide in Him. Then your work will follow you into eternity and you will reap a rich harvest."
  • Mother Basilea Schlink

Proverb for Today

“From the fruit of their lips people enjoy good things, but the unfaithful have an appetite for violence.”
  • Proverbs 13:2

Word from Scripture for Today

"This is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ."
  • Philippians 1:9-10
