Thought for Today

“Life on earth is a training ground for heaven!

We truly can be confident because we know that God infinitely loves us! We know that He has given us His Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.

In fact, we have a special kind of hope. Through the process of patience, our hope is that we never need expect to remain in the same circumstances -- or ever remain the same person!

So my advice is, let the Holy Spirit have His perfect work and way in your life, producing the priceless fruit of patience: consistency, endurance, and perseverance.

And do not give up! We must let patience have its perfect work so that, as it says in James 1:24, we will be perfect and complete and lacking nothing.

Today, look for opportunities to be patient with your loved ones, including your spouse, friends, family and co-workers!”
