Comment on Today’s Reading is by Dave Dravecky
“God is not the Cosmic Bookkeeper, the one to blame if things don’t work out the way you think they should. Life isn’t always fair, at least in the short run, but the Bible taught me not to confuse life with God. When you you’re confronted with trouble you don’t ask, “why me!” You ask God, “What do you want me to do in this situation?””

“The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?”

Proverb for Today
“Eat honey, my son, for it is good; honey from the comb is sweet to your taste. Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: if you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.”
