REFLECTION

GOD’S VOICE

Learning to hear God's voice is crucial for our relationship with Him, as shown in John 10:27. In this verse, Jesus says that His followers are like sheep who listen to His voice and follow Him. To hear God's voice, we need to spend time in prayer, read the Bible, and be still before Him. It's important to quiet our hearts and minds so we can recognize when God is speaking to us. Hearing God's voice requires trust, patience, and a willingness to follow His guidance. When we learn to hear His voice, we can make better decisions, grow closer to Him, and live according to His will.

“God wants to speak to you — but how do you know whether an idea you get in your mind is from him?

In this video, Pastor Rick Warren teaches seven ways to test your ideas, impressions, and thoughts to know you are hearing the voice of God.”
