BIBLE READING FOR TODAY

Exodus 3:13-14

“Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

REFLECTION

“I AM”

In the Bible, God is depicted as the supreme being, the creator of the universe and all that exists. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent—meaning He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and everywhere at all times. God is described as loving, just, merciful, and holy. He is the source of all life and the ultimate authority. The Bible presents God as having various attributes, including being a provider, a protector, a healer, and a redeemer. He reveals Himself to humanity through His word, through creation, and through His interactions with individuals and nations. Ultimately, God's nature and character are beyond human comprehension, yet He invites people into a personal relationship with Him based on faith, love, and obedience. God is Holy and Supreme.

MOTHER BASILEA SCHLINK’S ATTITUDE FOR TODAY

"Do not lose yourself in your everyday work and activities. Rather, lose yourself in God. When you are doing your work, let your innermost heart be centred on Him. Live in His presence and abide in Him. Then your work will follow you into eternity and you will reap a rich harvest."
