WORD FROM SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Romans 5:1-2
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God."
REFLECTION
OUR DEBT TO GOD IS PAID IN FULL BY THE ATONING SACRIFICE OF JESUS
Christian justification refers to the theological concept of how individuals are considered righteous and in right standing with God. Rooted in Christian doctrine, it's the process by which God, through grace, forgives and pardons a person's sins, and declares them righteous because of the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. It's not earned through personal merit or good deeds but is received by faith. This justification is often explained through the belief in Jesus Christ as the savior whose sacrifice on the cross paid the penalty for humanity's sins, allowing believers to be reconciled with God and receive salvation. This belief is central to various Christian denominations and shapes the understanding of how individuals are reconciled with God and granted eternal life.

“There is more hope for a stupid fool than for someone who speaks without thinking.”

"For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves..."
Colossians 1:13
"Hear and do what Jesus says. He bids you to believe in His victory and promises and count on them. Then you will see His victory and the glory of God both here and in heaven. God reveals himself to the eyes of faith."
