WORD FROM SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Romans 6:3-4
"Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."
REFLECTION
WATER BAPTISM BY FULL IMMERSION
Christian water baptism by full immersion is absolutely vital for anyone who believes and has accepted Jesus Christ as the “Son of God”. It symbolises spiritual cleansing, rebirth, and initiation into the Christian faith. It involves immersing a believer completely in water, representing the death and burial of the old self and rising to a new life in Christ. This practice finds its roots in the New Testament, with Jesus himself being baptized by John the Baptist as an example for believers. It's seen as an outward expression of an inward faith, signifying a commitment to follow Christ and publicly declaring one's identification with Jesus's death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism, by full immersion symbolises spiritual transformation and incorporation into the body of Christ.

“If you give your servants everything they want from childhood on, some day they will take over everything you own.”
Proverbs 29:21
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23
"Don't try to escape suffering; rather give yourself to it, for tears mark the earthly path of God's elect. but blessed are those who weep here, for one day above they will laugh and be filled with joy beyond measure."
