WORD FROM SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Hebrews 5:11-12 (NIV®)
“We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!”
REFLECTION
EVERYTHING IS CREATED IN AN ORDINARY AND PERFECT WAY
We learn things in a logical order. Can you imagine a teacher asking you to master multiplication before you learned to count? Or expecting you to write an essay before you learned to read? The author of Hebrews says there is much God would like to teach us, but we can’t hear it yet because we haven’t processed what He has already made available to us. I’ve observed that God is more likely to give us greater knowledge and insight into spiritual things when we have made an effort to understand what He has already placed before us. I urge you to cooperate with the truth before you. Be diligent in Bible reading and prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand what you have read and heard from the Lord and know how to apply it.

PROCESS WHAT’S BEFORE YOU
EVERYTHING IS CREATED IN AN ORDINARY AND PERFECT WAY
“If you make fun of your father or despise your mother in her old age, you ought to be eaten by vultures or have your eyes picked out by wild ravens.”
Proverbs 30:17
“Get rid of all bitterness, passion, and anger. No more shouting or insults, no more hateful feelings of any sort. Instead, be kind and tender-hearted to one another, and forgive one another, as God has forgiven you through Christ.”
Ephesians 4:31-32
"Do not be slaves of men. Do not live, speak or act to please them, for then you will deprive your life of its power. Be royally independent of their praise and criticism. Be Christ's servant and take care that you have God's approval. Then you can bless many and, having been his servant, you will one day stand at his side above."
