Comment on this Command
Making disciples is developing in others their potential by using our gifts and talents to bring out the best in them. It is avoiding setting my affections on ideas or plans which could be changed by God or others. This command and action overcomes the resistance to change and develops a more flexible approach to issues and God’s plan for each unique human being.
No one can make you feel inferior without your consent
Eleanor Roosevelt
Do not be slaves of men. Do not live, speak or act to please them, for then you will deprive your life of its power. Be royally independent of their praise and criticism. Be Christ's servant and take care that you have God's approval. Then you can bless many and, having been his servant, you will one day stand at his side above.
Mother Basilea Schlink
What a person desires is unfailing love; better to be poor than a liar.
Proverbs 19:22
For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.
2 Corinthians 4:5
