REFLECTION
IF YOU ARE IN A DIFFICULT PLACE, GOD HAS NOT ABANDONED YOU
Perhaps you, like Paul, live with a chronic condition. Whether physical or mental, pain can be very isolating. It can diminish our interest in the world around us. It can make us feel we are being unfairly targeted, and no one can really understand what we are going through. I want you to know, if you are in that difficult place, God has not abandoned you. Paul begged the Lord to take his problem away, but the Lord chose to use it for His glory instead. The day is coming when Jesus’ victory over suffering will be manifested fully, but for the time being, you and I are ambassadors. We are here to show the world that, through Jesus, we are overcomers.
