REFLECTION
TAKE TIME TO PONDER JESUS’ LIFE, DEATH, AND RESURRECTION
Every year, Easter gives us an opportunity to slow down and reexamine our faith and reaffirm our belief in God. I know the Easter story well. But once again, this Easter season, I will take time to ponder Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. I will remind myself of how He lived and what He taught. I will think about how He changed lives then and is still changing lives today. I will contemplate what He willingly experienced on that cruel Roman cross for my sake. I will express my deep gratitude to Him again. I’m believing God for a fresh understanding and new insight in my own life this Easter, and I pray you are as well. Simply say, “Jesus, I am putting my faith in You afresh. I am grateful that on that cross You exhausted the curse I deserve for my godlessness and rebellion, so I might receive all the blessings that were due Your perfect obedience. Thank You for Your indescribable gift!”
