LIFELONG WORK
Quote for Today
“Never focus your eyes on the obstacle or the difficulty. The obstacle will be a matter of total indifference to the river that will flow steadily through you if you will simply remember to stay focused on the Source.”

WORD FROM THE HOLY BIBLE FOR TODAY
Ephesians 1:7 (NIV®)
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.”
REFLECTION
GOD IS IN THE REDEMPTION AND RESTORATION BUSINESS
Did you know God is in the redemption and restoration business? We're not Christ-followers because we are perfect, morally superior, or have a heightened awareness that helps us make better decisions. We're Christ-followers because our failures, flaws, mistakes, and shortcomings have become the canvas upon which the grace and mercy of God can be demonstrated for all the world to see. We are works in progress, in a lifelong process of daily submitting ourselves to the Lord. When we humble ourselves and invite the Spirit of God to whittle away at our rough edges, we will be transformed and made more like Jesus. Remember, no matter the degree of brokenness in our lives, no matter the depravity of our character, the power of Almighty God is sufficient to redeem and restore us. That's my story—and yours—and it’s the great message of hope we have for the world.

LIFELONG WORK
GOD IS IN THE REDEMPTION AND RESTORATION BUSINESS
Recall a failure or mistake that became an open door for God’s transforming power, and then praise Him for His mercy and grace.
Allen Jackson
Heavenly Father, I rejoice in Your love and provision for my life. From the dust of despair, You restore my hope and my future. You are my Deliverer. Grant me boldness to stand, courage to persevere, and humility to listen—with a heart to share what You have done for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
